Main ingredients: (measuring cup used = 240ml)
1 small carrot, 1 medium sized potato, 8-10 beans, 1 small navilkosu or knol khol, 1/4 cup fresh green peas, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder and Salt as per your taste.

Ingredients for tempering: (measuring cup used = 240ml)
2 tbsp oil, 1/2 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1 bay leaf, 4 – 5 curry leaves, 1 large onion and 1 large tomato.

Ingredients for grinding:
1/4 cup grated coconut, 2 tsp roasted gram or hurigadale, 1cm length ginger, 3 cloves garlic, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp poppy seeds or gasagase, 4 – 5 cashews, 1/2 finger length cinnamon, 3-4 cloves, 1 cardamom, 2 tbsp coriander leaves and 1 tbsp mint or pudina leaves.
