Thani nadan Egg Curry is a very popular dish in Kerala .This recipe is from my grandmother surely a yummy treat for egg lovers.This creamy egg curry is a good accompaniment with Palappam,Idiyappam,Chappati ,bread etc.
Ingredients
Boiled egg- 4, deshelled
Potato- 1, medium,cubed into medium pieces
Onion-one, large,sliced
Green Chilly-3 Nos ,slit lenghtwise(adjust as per tolerance)
Ginger- a small piece,finely chopped
Garlic-3 pods,finely chopped
Coriander powder- 3/4 tablespoon
Fennel powder/Perumjeerakam- 3/4 tablespoon
Coconut milk first extract/Onnam pal -1/2 cup
Second extract/Randam pal- 2-3 Cups
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Mustard seeds- 1/2 teaspoon
Coconut oil- as required
Salt- to taste
