Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg
Shallots – 15
Green chilly- 2
Ginger – 1 medium piece
Garlic – 6 cloves
Cardamom – 1
Cloves – 2
Dry red chillies – 2
Tomato – small 1
Perumjeerakm – 1 teaspoon
Kashmiri chilly powder – 1.5 tablespoon
Coriander powder- 1.5tablespoon
Garam masala – half tablespoon
Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
Salt- to taste
Coconut oil – as required
Curry leaves – 2 sprig
Heat oil in a pressure cooker on a medium flame.
Saute cloves and cardamom now.
Add mustard seeds, dry red chillies, curry leaves, green chilly and saute well.
Saute chopped shallots until it turns translucent.
Add ginger, garlic and fennel seeds paste this.
Add sliced tomatoes to this.
When the oil is clear, bring down the fire.
Saute masala powders.
Add chicken pieces and salt to this and saute for 3 minutes.
Pour 3/4 cup of warm water to this.
Close the cooker and cook for 2 whistle.
Remove the lid when the steam goes.
