Ingredients:
Chicken -1 kg
Onion, medium -3
Garlic- 13 cloves
Ginger -a medium piece
Green chilly -2
Tomato medium- 1
Curry leaves- 3 sprig
Pepper powder -1.5 tablespoon
Turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder-1 tablespoon
Kashmiri chilly powder -1/2 tablespoon
Salt- to taste
Thick coconut milk – half to 1 cup
Coconut oil- as required
Fennel powder -1 teaspoon
Garam masala -1 teaspoon
Heat oil in a pan and saute cardamom, Cinnamon, clove.
Saute curry leaves, chopped ginger, garlic and green chilly.
Saute onion until it turns out to translucent.
Saute tomato until it turns soft.
Add washed chicken and saute for 5 minutes.
Close it and cook for 3 minutes.
Saute turmeric powder and coriander powder.
Saute chilly powder, pepper powder and garam masala.
Add salt and mix well.
Close it and cook for 10 minutes.
Add coconut milk and mix well.
Let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Turn off the flame now.
Sprinkle 1 tspn coconut oil, 1 tspn fennel powder, 2 sprigs of curry leaves.
Close it for 5 minutes to set flavors.
