ഉണ്ണാം മനസ്സ് നിറഞ്ഞു,മലയാളി മറന്നു തുടങ്ങിയ ഈ കറി കൂട്ടി |Kerala Style Muringayila Curry

Ingredients:
Drumstick leaves/Muringayila- 1 stalk
Shallots – 3 ,chopped
Grated coconut – half of a coconut
Cumin seeds – a pinch
Dry red chillies – 1 Nos
Garlic – 2 pods
Coconut oil – as required
Mustard seeds- Half teaspoon
Turmeric powder- a pinch
Kashmeeri chilly powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Method of preparation:
Wash leaves thoroughly under running water.Remove the leaves from stalks and keep aside.
Grind coconut,garlic,cumin seeds and dry red chilly to a smooth paste adding enough water.
Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seeds when it splutters add shallots and sauté well.
Add in drumstick leaves ,listen to the voice of popping up the leaves.
Now add turmeric powder,chilly powder ,ground coconut paste,salt with enough water and mix well.
Let it heat for 4 minutes..Do not let the curry to boil.
Switch off the flame and remove from the stove.
