Ingredients:

Pointed Gourd – 300 grams
Potatoes – 300 grams (2 large)
Green Chillies – 3 to 4
Ginger – 1/2 inch
Tomatoes – 2
Milk – 1/4 cup
Cashew Nuts – 2 tablespoons
Mustard oil – 4 tablespoons
Bay Leaves – 1 to 2
Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
Cloves – 2 to 3
Cardamom – 2 to 3
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Sugar – to taste
Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
Corriander Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Corriander Leaves – as required

I tried it exactly as directed in video but the parwal remained bland. It did not absorb any of the masala taste. But luckily curry and potato saved the day… I believe half slitting parwal may help… will try slitting it next time .
