Bendakaya Pulusu in Telugu How to Cook Bhindi curry in Telugu by Tasty Vantalu

Bendakaya pulusu Ingredients:
Ladies Fingers – 250 gms
Onions – 1 Large size Finely chopped
Tomatoes – 3 medium size
Tamarind juice – 1 cup / around 150 ml
Chilli Powder – 2 Tea spoons
Salt as per requirement
Cooking oil – 2 tea spoons
Mustard seeds – 1/4 table spoon
Fenugreek seeds – around 12 – 15 seeds
Turmeric powder – 1/4 table spoon
Curry leaves and coriander leaves

Bhindi curry cooking process:

Preheeat the pan and add oil into it.

Once oil is heated add mustard seeds and fengreek seeds, allow them to splatter.

Now add finely chopped onions, curry leaves, pinch of turmeric powder and some salt and fry them till onions become soft and trasperant.

Now add Finely chopped tomatoes and salt as per requirement and cover the pan and cook them until the tomatoes are mashed.

Now open the lid, and add Chilli powder and mix it well.

Now add Bendi pieces and tamarind juice and some water and cook them for 5 minutes by covering the pan.

Open the lid, and check the taste, if required you can add chilli powder, salt or water at this point of time and mix it. Now cover the pan and cook for around 5 to 6 minutes.

Open the lid and check bendi pieces, by this time they will be cooked. Now add coriander leaves and mix it and swith off the flame.

Thats it our Bendakaya pulusu is ready.
