INGREDIENTS
Oil-2tsp
Mustard seed -1/2tsp
Urad dal-1/2tsp
Asafoetida-1tsp
Curry leaves
Yellow pumpkin-1/2
Red chilli-1
Coconut-2tsp
Coriander leaves
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp

METHOD
1.Cut the pupkim into cubes.

2.In a pot ,boil 1 and 1/2 cup water ,add pumpkin with 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 ts p salt.cook for 10 minutes.keep aside.

3.In a pan ,put the oil and when it is hot ,add mustard,urad dal asafoetida ,when its pops up add curry leaves,red chilli,fry for few minutes,now add the boiled pumpkin,add coconut ,garnisned with coriander leaves.switch off stove.

4.Now pumpkin poriyal is ready for serve with hot rice,sambar ,rasam.
