Ingredients
1.Oil-2tsp
2.Mustard-1/4tsp
3.Urad dal-1/2tsp
4.Redchilli-2
5.Asafoetida-1/4tsp
6.Green chilli-3
7.Tomato-1
8.Coriander leaves-hand full
9.Karpooravalli or ajwain leaves-25 no’s
10.Coconut-5tsp
11.Fried gram-1tsp
12.Ginger-little bit
13.salt
METHODS
1. wash the karpooravalli leaves and coriander leaves .keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal and mustard seed ,asafoetida wait for the mustard seeds crackle. and fry until turn brown colour.
3. Now add red chillies ,green chillies,ginger ,coriander leaves and karpooravalli leaves and saute well .
4.Add chopped tomato and cook until tomato mash.
5.Finally add coconut,podukadalai and cook for few minutes. Allow it to cool.
6. Then transfer everything to a mixie jar and add salt.
7. Grind it into a fine paste along with little water.
8.Now karapooravalli chutney is serve with idly and dosa.
