big bunch of sabsige soppu / dill leaves
clean, and wash the soppu
3/4 cup toor dal
wash and pressure cook the dal with 3 cups of water,little turmeric and little oil on medium heat. turn off the heat after ONE whistle
strain it to a bowl using a colander
1 tsp salt or salt to taste
1 tsp salt or salt to taste
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal /black gram
1 tsp kadle bele /chana dal
few curry leaves
turmeric powder
1.5 tsp red chili powder
marble size tamarind (wash and soak it in water)
1/4 cup grated fresh coconut (optional)
finely chop the dill leaves
