  • Hello mam.Authentic recipe The older generation prepare it this way_ add thick cooked dal without kattu in the end ( to the leafy veg cooked with green chilly+ jeera paste) after the flame has been put off.
    The consistency should be vry thick = muddae. Some add garlic oggarnae to the dal in the end. Inplace of tamrind juice add lemon juice..May be one can yry this Original way as a change in recipee.Thank you.

  • I make this recipe using grated coconut, methi leaves, toor dal and green chillies. I don't use tamarind juice. It tastes good even this way.

  • Ingredients are correct but method is totally wrong, palak colour should be green if u do it in correct way. No coconut should be added…
