Masala puri Chaat | Bengaluru-Mysore style Masal Puri | Masalpuri chaat recipe
Description :
Masal puri is one of the popular roadside chaat in Bangalore – Mysore region. it is definitely an addictive snack and healthy too only if you make it at home 🙂 This is one the kids favorite snack!
Ingredients:
1 cup dried peas
2 small potatoes
¼ tsp turmeric powder
4 to 5 cups of water
For Grinding:
Handful of coriander leaves
Handful of mint leaves
1 tsp sompu/fennel seeds
½ tsp coriander seeds
¼ to ½ tsp chilli powder
¾ tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1 tsp black salt/rock salt
1½ tsp salt
1 inch ginger
1 big clove of garlic
2 to 3 cloves
8 to 10 green chillies
1 small onion
Little jaggery
To make masal puri:
Masalpuri masala
Sweet chutney(dates and tamarind chutney)
Puris
Mix of finely chopped onion,and finely chopped cilantro(grated carrot, optional)
