And always end with buttermilk rice.
Try this Karnataka style majjige saaru!
Ingredients for majjige saaru:
1¼ cup buttermilk
¾ cup grated fresh coconut
1 cup warm water
¼ tsp salt or salt to taste
For seasoning:
1 tsp ghee
¼ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp jeera/cumin seeds
pinch of asafetida/hing
2 green chillies chopped
1 to 2 tbsp chopped cilantro /coriander leaves to garnish
10 curry leaves
