Doddapatre (cuban oregano, Spanish thyme, Orégano Brujo (Puerto Rico), Indian Borage) is a very useful medicinal plant. These leaves are used for treating cough, cold, sore throat, and nasal congestion. It is also very useful in balancing the pitta vikruti (imbalance) in our body.

  • My favorite leaf.i used to eat a lot just frying in little oil or as tamb huli or bonda.But here in NZ,it doesn't grow fast and even plant is not available in nursery.i miss it a lot.
