Very simple and easy to make tasty, healthy side dish is this Carrot Palya.
I know many of you know this palya, this is for the beginners or just want to cook some simple dish with roti.
Carrot palya goes well with rotis, rasam rice, and rotti.
Ingredients;
5 medium size carrots (wash and peel the skin and grate )
or 2 to 2.5 cups of grated carrot
handful of chopped cilantro/coriander leaves
5 to 10 curry leaves
¾ tsp salt
¼ cup fresh coconut
tsp of lemon/lime juice (optional)
For Seasoning:
1 TBSP oil
½ tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
2 slit green chillies
