Ingredients
– 11/2 cup of red kidney beans (rajma)
– 1 tsp salt
– 3 cups of water

Rajma Masala
– 2 tbsp Oil
– 3 chopped onions
– 2 green chillies
– 1 tsp salt
– 2 tbsp of garlic and ginger paste
– 4 tomatoes
– 1 tsp red chilli powder
– water
– coriander
– 1 tsp of coriander powder
– 1 tsp of cumin powder
– 1 tsp of garam masala
– tomato ketchup (optional)
– kasoori meethi

Method
– Soak red kidney beans (rajma) over night
– Pressure cook the rajma for 20-25 minutes. Add salt and water to it
– Cook onion in a pan with heated oil and add green chillies and salt to it
– Add ginger and garlic paste, tomatoes, red chilli powder, water and coriander
– Grind the masala, water and the paste in the boiled rajma
– Pressure cooker it with one whistle.
– Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, tomato ketchup and kasoori methi
– Add more coriander
Rajma is ready to be served!
