Ingredients
For Kadhi
– Oil/ Ghee
– 1tsp jeera
– hing / asafoetida
– fenugreek
– red chillies
– 4-5 cloves
– 2 green chillies
– chopped ginger
– chopped garlic
– curd
– 3 tbsp besan
– water
– 1tsp salt
– turmeric
– 11/2 tbsp red chilli powder
– coriader
– garam masala
For Pakora
– 3- 4 onions
– 1 tsp salt
– green chillies
– ginger
– coriander seeds
– ajwain
– turmeric
– red chilli powder
– corander
– curd
– besan
Method
– In a pan add some oil, hing, jeera, fenugreek, red chillies,cloves, green chillies, chopped ginger and chopped garlic
– In a bowl add curd, besan and whisk it then add water & add the mixture to the tadka
– Mix it well add salt, turmeric and red chilli powder and keep stirring. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes
– Add salt to chopped onions and keep aside for 15 minutes add green chillies, ginger, coriander seeds, ajwain, turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander, curd & besan and mix it well
– Fry the pakoras in an pan
– Add more water to the curry and let it cook for some more time
– In a pan add chopped onions and fry them
– Add garam masala, coriander to the kadhi then add the pakoras and fried onion and red chilli powder and coriander leaves.
