Palak Dal Recipe In Hindi | Restaurant Style Dal Recipe | Swaad Anusaar With Seema

Ingredients:
3-4 tbsp oil
1-inch cinnamon
2 bay leaves
1 tbsp cumin seeds
2 chopped green chillies
2 chopped onions
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
3 chopped tomatoes
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1 bunch spinach, chopped
1/2 cup chana dal (Split bengal gram)
2 cups of water
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp garam masala powder
freshly chopped coriander

In a cooker add 3-4 tbsp oil, 1 inch cinnamon, 2 bay leaves, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, 2 chopped green chillies, 2 chopped onions mix and cook till the onions turn soft.

Now add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 3 chopped tomatoes, salt to taste, 1/2 tbsp red chili powder, 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder, mix well and cook it on high flame.

Add 1 bunch of spinach (chopped) stir well and let it wilt.

Add 1/2 cup chana dal, 2 cups of water, mix well, put the lid on, and cook for 2-3 whistles (approx 20-25 minutes) on low flame.

Now add 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp garam masala powder and let it cook for 5 minutes with an open lid on low flame.

Add freshly chopped coriander to the prepared dal and serve it hot.
