Its the festive season and what better then enjoying them with delicious, tasty and sweet Lauki Ka Halwa. It is an Indian dessert dish which is made during festivals. So make mouth watering and tempting Lauki Ka Halwa during Navratri with chef Seema only on Swaad Anusaar.
Ingredients
1kg grated lauki (Bottle Gourd)
1 lite milk
1 cup of sugar
raisins
almonds
2 tbsp of ghee
3-4 cinnamon
Method
– Turn on the gas and add the grated lauki in it.
– Add milk to it and mix it well. Let the lauki get cooked properly.
– Once the milk dries out add sugar.
– Add raisins and chopped almonds and mix properly.
– Keep stirring continuously.
– Add ghee and let it cook on a low flame.
– Add cinnamon and after 10 minutes Lauki Ka Halwa is ready to be served.
– Garnish it with almonds
