  • I am a north indian. Do you have the narration in English. Because north indians need more guidance than south indians for making south indian dishes. Do you have any site where I can see the details in english. If you do not have site then please let me know the ratio of idli rice, flat rice, methi and urad dal. Becaause in the video there is no mention of flat rice. Further pleaase also advise how much water is to be used for grinding. Because I have read somewhere that less water will result in hard idlis and excess water will result in flat idlis. I own a ultra wet grinder.

  • Hai aunty I usually add 3 cups of idli rice and 1 cup of ponni rice for 1 cup of urad dal and while grinding little cooked rice. If I follow ur method shud I add cooked rice or as u said can I add rice flakes instead of cooked rice? Pls do reply me aunty.

    I use the same ratio for rice and black gram and grind it using the mixer.
    The ground black gram flour is yellowish.
    How do I remedy that
