Badam milk is a tasty and healthy drink which can be served both hot and cold to all age groups. Badam milk reduces blood pressure. It improves kidney health. Badam milk contains Riboflavin, which is a form of vitamin-B, help in strengthens muscles. Because of Vitamin-A present in it, it improves vision.

Ingredients:

Milk – 21/4 cups
Almonds – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 3 tsp
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
Saffron – Few strands

Soak Badam in hot water for one hour. If we add normal water, soak Badam for 3 or 4 hours and you can peel the skin easily.
Put them into blender and add 1/4th cup milk and blend them into fine paste and keep it aside.
Now boil two cups of milk in a pan. When the milk come to boil, add Badam paste. Keep it in low flame.
Stir continuously for ten minutes, otherwise the milk can smell burnt. Now milk thickens.
After ten minutes, add sugar, cardamom powder and few strands of saffron.Now mix it well for sometime.
Turn off the flame. Now the Badam milk is ready.Pour it into two glasses and serve it either hot or cool. Garnish with few strands of saffron.
