Description :

Bitter Gourd Methi Fry Recipe:

Ingredients:

Bitter gourds – 250 gmrs
Methi leaves – one cup ( 70 – 100 grms)
Oil – 5 table spoons
Onion – 2 (medium size)
Tomato – 2 (medium size)
Turmeric – ¼ spoon
Red Chilli Powder – 2 spoons
Cumin and mustard seeds – half spoon each
Curry leaves – few
Salt for taste

Preparation:
Chop Onion, Tomato and Bitter Gourd.

How to cook:

Step 1:

Put two table spoons of oil on Kadai, Add Bitter Gourd and fry it well until it turns from green to gold. Add a pinch of salt for taste in between, once it is ready take out and keep in bowl.

Step 2:

Add 3 table spoons of oil on Kadai, wait for few seconds and add cumin, mustard and curry leaves.

Put Onion and fry for a min, Add Methi leaves and fry for 2 mins. Add tomato and fry for a min again.

Step 3:

Add Turmeric, Salt and red Chilli Powder, Mix well and fry for a min and Add fried Bitter gourd ( we made in step 1).

Step 4:

Mix well and Keep it on the medium flame for a min.
