ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ ಬಜ್ಜಿ | Village Style Mirchi bajji |Menasina Kayi Bajji | Mirapakaya Bajji by My mother

Description :

This is Village style Spicy Mirchi Bajji, Recipe by my Mother.

INGREDIENTS:

Green chillies 8-10 ( 100 grams)
Basen/Gram flour 1 cup
Rice powder 2 tsp
Cooking soda 1 pinch
Ajwain/carom seeds ¼ tsp
Cumin powder half tsp
Salt To taste
Oil To fry
Water to make paste.

HOW TO COOK:

Step 1.
Slit green chillies from top to bottom single side.

Step 2.
Make mix with Cumin powder and Salt and fill it in chillies,

Step 3.
Fry chillies for 10 seconds on the medium flame ( this will help cumin and salt to melt and spread around the chillies )

Step 4.
Take a bowl, add Basen/gram flour, Rice flour, Ajwain/carom, soda and salt. Pour water to make thick paste and mix well.

Step 5.
Heat oil in a pan and take one chili at a time and soak one side of the chili in the paste and drop in the hot oil

Step 6.
Deep fry chillies both side by rotating and take out when it is turned to dark Gold color.

That All!!

Spicy and hot Mirchi Bajji is Ready to serve/eat.
