Ingredients of Phulkopir Dalna:
1. Boiled cauliflower / Phulkopi / Gobi (1 medium size).
2. Potatoes (2 medium size).
3. Slice tomato (1 big size).
4. Chopped onion (1 big size).
5. Ginger paste (2 tsp).
6. Slitted green chilli (4 no).
7. Cumin seeds (½ tsp).
8. 1 bay leaf
9. Cumin powder (½ tsp).
10. Turmeric powder (½ tsp).
11. Red chilli powder (¼ tsp).
12. Garam masala powder (½ tsp).
13. Salt (as per your taste).
14. Sugar (as per your taste).
15. Mustard oil.
16. Ghee (1 tsp).
Methods of How to cook Phool Kopir Dalna:
1. Heat the pan and add mustard oil in it.
2. Fry the potatoes very well. Keep a side.
3. Fry the boiled cauliflower nicely.
4. Add 3 tbsp oil in pan. Add ½ tsp cumin seeds, and 1 bay leaf. Fry it for 10 sec.
5. Add chopped onion and fry till become golden brown.
6. Add sliced tomato and green chilli. Fry for 1 min in medium flame.
7. Add ginger paste. Fry for 30 sec in medium flame.
8. Add ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp sugar. Mixed it very well.
9. Add 2 tbsp water and cook for 2 min in high flame.
10. Add fried potatoes and fried cauliflower and Fry for 1 min in high flame.
11. Add 3 cups water. When boiling close the lid for 10 min in medium flame.
12. After 10 min taste it. Add more salt or sugar if required.
1. Now cook in high flame.
2. Add ½ tsp garam masala powder and 1 tsp ghee. Mixed it well.
3. Put off gas oven. Close the lid for 5 min.
4. Your recipe is ready.
5. Serve hot phul kopir dalna with hot steamed rice, roti, paratha, luchi, etc.
