Chola Chaat – Most Popular Bengali Street Food Chana Chaat Recipe

Here is Most Popular Bengali Street Food Chola Chaat or Chana Chaat Recipe. It is also known as Chola Makha. So let’s learn how to make Delicious Spicy Chana Chaat and make it at home.

Ingredients of Chhola Chaat:
1. Chhola / Chickpeas / Chana (2 cups, soak in water for minimum 24 hrs).
2. Boiled potatoes (½ cup).
3. Chopped tomato (2tbsp).
4. Boiled yellow peas (2tbsp).
5. Chopped onion (2tbsp).
6. Roasted masala powder of coriander, cumin, and dry chillis (1 tsp).
7. Chopped cucumber (2tbsp).
8. Chopped coriander leaves (2tsp).
9. Tamarind sauce (2 tsp).
10. Chopped green chilli (2 no)
11. Salt (½ tsp).
12. Mustard oil. (1 tsp).

Methods of How to Make Chola Chaat:
1. First take a big mixing bowl.
2. Add 2 cups soaked chana or chickpeas, ½ cup boiled potatoes, 2 tbsp chopped cucumber, 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp boiled yellow peas, 2tbsp chopped onion, 2 chopped green chillis, 1 tsp of roasted masala powder, 2 tsp of tamarind sauce, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, ½ salt, and 1 tsp of mustard oil.
3. Mix all the ingredients very well.
4. Chana Chaat Recipe is ready. Garnish with 1 tsp of chopped coriander leaves.
