Preparation Time for Bengali Chirer Pulao Recipe: 15 minutes

Cooking Time for Chirer Polao: 25 minutes
INGREDIENTS OF CHIRER PULAO:
1. Chire / Rice Flakes (100 gm)
2. Potato (1 medium size)
3. Chopped Carrot (½ cup).
4. Chopped Beans ( ¼ cup
5. Green Peas (1/3 cup).
6. Chopped Onion (1 medium size).
7. Cashew nut (8 to 10).
8. Raisins (1 tbsp).
9. Capsicum (½ cup).
10. Chopped coriander (1 tbsp).
11. Ground nut or chine badam.
12. Chopped green chilli (4 no).
13. Turmeric powder (½ tsp).
14. Cumin seeds ( ½ tsp).
15. Garam masala
16. 1 Bay leaf
17. 1 dry chilli.
18. Garam masala powder.
19. Salt (as per your taste).
20. Sugar Salt (as per your taste).
21. Refined oil (5tbsp).
22. Ghee (½ tsp).

Methods of How to cook Chirer Pulao:
1. Add 1 tbsp oil in hot pan. Fry the ground nut and keep aside.
2. Add 4 tbsp oil in pan. Add 1 bay leaf, garam masala, cumin seed, 1 dry chilli.
3. After 30 sec add chopped onion and fry for 30 sec in medium flame.
4. Add potatoes, carrots, beans, ½ tsp salt and close the lid. Cook for 3 to 5 min in low flame.
5. Add chopped beans, chopped capsicum, and chopped green chilli. close the lid. Cook for 5 min in low flame. Stir between 2 times.
6. Add cashew nuts, raisins, ½ tsp turmeric powder. Mixed it well.
7. Add soaked rice flakes. Mixed it well. Now cook in medium flame.
8. Add fried ground nuts. Mixed it well.
9. Add 1.5 tsp sugar. Mixed it well.
10. Check salt and sugar. Add more as per your taste.
11. Now close the lid. Cook for 2 min in low flame.
12. Then add ½ tsp garam masala powder, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Mixed it well.
13. Add ½ tsp of ghee. Mixed it well.
14. Put off gas oven. Close the lid for 5 min.
15. Now the recipe is ready. Serve hot.
