Chicken Butter Masala – How To Make Restaurant Style Butter Chicken At Home

Ingredients of Butter Chicken Recipe:
1. Chicken (500 gm).
2. Tomato (5 medium sizes).
3. Onion paste (2 medium sizes).
4. Ginger paste (2 tsp)
5. Garlic paste (3 tsp)
6. Garam masala powder (1 tsp).
7. Fresh cream (2 tbsp).
8. Kashuri Methi / Dry Fenugreek Leaves (1 tbsp).
9. Kashmiri lal mirch powder (2 tsp).
10. Chopped green chilli (2 no).
11. Plain yogurt (200gm).
12. Chopped coriander leaves (1tbsp).
13. Salt (as per your taste).
14. Sugar (as per your taste).
15. Lemon juice (1 tbsp)
16. Mustard oil (2 tbsp).
17. Refined oil (4 tbsp).
Methods of How to Cook Chicken Butter Masala:
1. Marinate the chicken with ¼ tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, ¼ tsp salt and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Keep it for 30 min in freezer.
2. After 30 min add 200gm plain yogurt, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, 2 tbsp mustard oil, and ½ tsp garam masala powder. Mixed it very well. Keep it for minimum 1 hour in freezer.
3. Heat the pan and add 2 tbsp refined oil. Add tomato puree. Now cook in medium flame for 8 to 10 min.
4. When boiling adds ½ tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste, and ½ tsp kashmiri red chili powder. Mixed it well.
5. After 10 min put off gas oven.
6. Strain completely to another bowl.
7. Heat the pan. Add 2 tbsp refined oil and 2 tbsp butter.
8. Add onion paste. Fry it for 2 min in high flame.
9. Add marinated chicken pc. Mixed it well.
10. Add ¼ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder.
11. When boiling cover it for 5 min.
12. After 5 min now cook in high flame.
13. Add tomato gravy, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp sugar, chopped green chilli, 1 tbsp kasuri methi. Mixed it well.
14. When the gravy become thick add 2 tbsp fresh cream.
15. Add 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves. Now cook in high flame for 2 min.
16. Finally add ½ tsp garam masala powder and mixed it well.
17. Put off gas oven. Close the lid for 5 min.
18. After 5 min serve hot butter chicken masala with Paratha, Roti, Naan, Kulcha etc.
