আজকে তোমাদের সাথে এমন একটা জিনিস শেয়ার করবো যা আমি ছোটো বেলার থেকেই খেতে খুব পছন্দ করি।আমাদের যে কোনও পুজোতে এটা হবেই হবে। সব সময় আপেক্ষা করতাম মা কখন পূজার শেষে আমায় বানিয়ে দেবে। এটা ঠিক রেসিপি বলব না তবে আমি কি উপায়ে এটা খেতে ভালবাসি তার পদ্ধতিটা তোমাদের সাথে ভাগ করে নেবো। সামনেই সরস্বতী পুজা তাই আজকের এই প্রয়াস।

Today’s special Bengali Chaal-kola makha, is what I waited for after end of any puja like Saraswati Puja and Lakshmi Puja.

What is Chaal-kola makha?
It is a common practice in Hinduism / Hindu Dharma to offer Naivedya to the Deities during puja at home or temples. Naivedya or Naivedhya or Noibiddyo, small mounds of small grained raw rice that had been soaked, Sweet Yogurt, some sweet sondesh, batasha or sugar candy, pieces of ripe banana were arranged in portions in a separate position. After the pujo was over, these small mounds of rice, sondesh and bananas were mixed together in a kind of mash. This preparation is called chaal-kola makha, distributed as prasad at the end of puja, is what I waited for.
