It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to their threshold, preference and health conditions.

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare

Radish Leaves Chutney

Ingredients:
Radish Leaves : 300 gms
Oil :2 tbsp
Mustard :1/2 tsp
Asafetida :1/2 tsp
Groundnut :3 tbsp
Black sesame seeds:1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds :1/4 tsp
Fresh ginger : 1 inch
Green chilies : 3
Turmeric powder : ½ tsp
Tamarind :a small lemon size
Jaggery powder : ½ tsp
Salt to taste

Procedure:
Clean, wash and cut the radish leaves and keep aside. Now take a kadai, add oil and heat it. To this add mustard, asafetida, ground nut, black sesame seeds and sauté for a while till the groundnuts and sesame seeds are roasted. To this add green chilies and fresh ginger, turmeric powder and roast well. Now add the green leaves and cook it soft without adding any water. Stir in between and cook in medium flame. Once the leaves are cooked soft, allow it to cool and transfer it to a mixer jar. To this add jaggery powder (optional) and grind it to a smooth paste without adding any water.
Hot and spicy radish leaves chutney is ready to serve.
