Most of the food here are made keeping the Indian Palette in consideration to keep the recipe as authentic as possible, although these food may be what any SouthAsian may relish .It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to there threshold, preference and health conditions.

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare

Peas Pulao

Ingredients:

Green Peas : 250 gms
Rice : 1 cup
water : 2 1/2 cups
oil : 2 tbsp
cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Coriander leaves : 1 cup
Fresh coconut :1/2 cup grated
tamerind : a small lemon size
salt to taste
red chilie : 1
green chilies : 2
ginger : 2 inches
Black pepper :6
Cinnamon : 2
Cloves :2

Procedure:
Wash rice and keep it aside.Take a mixer jar add corriander leaves,grated coconut,tamarind,green chilies and ginger.add little water and grind to a smooth paste.Take a pressure cooker, add oil,cumin seeds,red chili,cloves and pepper corns and saute for a while.To this add green peas and grinded paste and saute for a while.Add water salt and rice and mix well and bring it to a boil.Now close the lid and pressure cook for three whistles. Serve hot.
