Most of the food here are made keeping the Indian Palette in consideration to keep the recipe as authentic as possible, although these food may be what any SouthAsian may relish .It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to there threshold, preference and health conditions.

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare

Millet peas bath

Ingredients
Peas – 250 gms
Kodo millet – 1 cup
Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
Mint leaves — handful
Groundnuts – 100gms
Mustard – 1/2 tsp
Oil — 2 tbsp
Bengal gram dal – 1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
Corinder leaves — handful
Green chilis–4
curry leaves -few
Tamarind — lemon size
Procedure:
Pressure cook dried green peas for 2 whistles.In the mean time dry roast groundnuts till they change the color,roast corinader seeds and fenugreek seeds.
Add oil and mustard seeds,green chilis and mint leaves.Take a mixer jar add tamarind,ground nut,coriander seeds,fenugreek seeds,coriander leaves,green chilies
and pudina. Add little water and blend it to a smooth paste.
Take kadai,Add oil,mustard,bengal gram dal,curry leaves and saute a while.Now add the grinded paste and little water and mix well.
To this add cooked peas and mix well and cook for about 5 mins till it thickens.Add salt mix well and cook for about 5 to 10 mins till it thickens
Mix it with millet rice and serve hot.
