How to prepare simple and tasty knol khol chutney
Knol Khol chutney

Ingredients:
Knol khol -2(peeled, washed and grated)
Oil — 2 tbsp
Fresh coconut -1 cup(grated)
Coriander leaves- handful (cleaned and washed)
Tamarind-a small lemon sized
Salt to taste
Groundnut -1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Asafetida – less than ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds -1 tsp
fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp
mustard- 1/2 tsp
Green chilies -4 or 5
Method:
Take a kadai heat it up. Add oil, once the oil is heated, add mustard, cumin, ground nuts and fenugreek and sauté this till the groundnuts become crispy. Add asafetida, turmeric and green chilies and sauté this. Add tamarind and grated knol khol and sauté this till the raw smell of the knol khol is gone. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Allow it to cool and transfer it to a mixer jar. To this add grated coconut and salt and grind to a smooth paste. Tasty and healthy knol khol chutney is ready to serve.
