Most of the food here are made keeping the Indian Palette in consideration to keep the recipe as authentic as possible, although these foods may be what any South Asian may relish. It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to their threshold, preference and health conditions.

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare
Dill Leaves curry

Ingredients:
Dill leaves : 250 gms (finely chopped)
Toor Dal :200 gms
Turmeric :1/2 tsp
Dried red chilies : 4
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Fresh cocnut :1 cup grated
Mustard : 1 tsp
Asafatida : ½ tsp
Oil : 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water : 2 cups

Procedure:
Take a pressure cooker add washed toor dal, turmeric, water and dill leaves and pressure cook for 1 whistle. Once the dal and leaves are cooked and cooled, take a kadai add oil and heat it up. When the oil is hot add mustard, cumin, asafetida and red chilies and saute for a while. To this add cooked dal and leaves and mix well. Now add grated coconut and salt and mix thoroughly. Tasty Dill leaves curry is ready. Serve it hot with chapatti or rice.
