Most of the food here are made keeping the Indian Palette in consideration to keep the recipe as authentic as possible, although these food may be what any SouthAsian may relish .It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to there threshold, preference and health conditions.
With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare
Capsicum Millet Rice
Ingredients
Capsicum (washed and cut into pieces)- 500g

Water – half a cup
Vangibath – 2 tablespoons. My recepie Link : https://youtu.be/c_NWnNyEJsE
Niger Seed / Uchhellu Chutney Powder – 1 teaspoon My recepie Link – https://youtu.be/5On9tt9ISpQ
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Bengalgram dal – 1 tea spoon
Mustard – half a tea spoon
Udad dal – 1 tea spoon
Salt – to taste
Curry Leaves – few
Procedure:
Take a kadai.
Pour oil.
Let it heat up.
Add mustard, channa dal, udad dal and curry leaves. Saute for a while.Saute till dal changes coor.
Add Capsicum. Saute.
Add half a cup of water.
Close lid and cook till capsicum becomes soft. Approximately around 15 mins.
Add salt and mix well.
Add vangibath powder, niger seeds/ ucheelu powder. Mix well.
Simmer for about 5 – 10 mins, till it thickens.
Capsicum curry is ready. Now lets mix it with the millet rice.
Add millet rice into a vessel and add the capsicum curry to the rice and mix well.
