It’s important to keep in mind the spices used must be taken into account by the viewer and cook according to their threshold, preference and health conditions.

With that out of the way, today we will see how to prepare

Amaranth Leaves dal

Ingredients:
Amaranth leaves – 400 gms
Toor dal – 1 cup
Raw tomatoes -2
Green chilies – 4-5
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
black pepper corns – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Method:
Take a pressure cooker add dal,green leaves,turmeric and tomatoes and pressure cook for 2 whistles the cooked dal add salt and mix well.Take a small kadai and add ghee and add cumin and black pepper powder. Add this to the dal and mix well and serve hot.
