Description :
Variety Fish Kurma from Salu Kitchen, is a simple spicy dish that has mainly two parts of cooking. The dish is tasty and has thick gravy like consistency. Apt as sides for chappathi, porotta, paratha, appam, breads, fried rice, etc.
കുട്ടികൾ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു അടിപൊളി വെറൈറ്റി ഫിഷ് കുറുമ || Variety Fish Kurma || Salu Kitchen
To prepare fish:
1. Fish – as many pieces as required
2. 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
3. ½ tsp turmeric powder
4. ¾ tsp garam masla powder
5. ½ tsp black pepper powder
6. Salt as required
7. Lemon extract
8. Mix the ingredients well, and coat on the fish
9. Shallow fry the fish as shown
To prepare gravy:
1. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a hot pan
2. Saute sliced onion, 10-12 cashew nuts
3. Add ½ cup coconut scraping and mix well
4. Turn off flame, allow it to cool, and grind well
5. In another hot pan, heat 2 tbsp oil
6. Splutter ¼ tsp cumin seed, ¼ tsp fenugreek
7. Saute 1 sliced onion
8. Add 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder and mix well
9. Add 2 sliced tomatoes and mix well
10. Add the grind coconut mix and the fried fish afterwards
11. Close the lid and cook to required level
12. Turn off flame when ready and garnish with coriander leaves
