Bread samosa is a variant of the Indian samosa with Aloo and matar (potato-green pea filling). This is a crunchy version experimented by Salu Kitchen.

ക്രഞ്ചി സമോസ ഇനി ഇങ്ങനെ പരീക്ഷിക്കാം || Variety Samosa || Ep#594 || Salu Kitchen
1. boil 3 potatoes with salt as required
2. cook ½ cup green peas with salt as required
3. peel the potato skin and mash the potatoes
4. heat 2 tbsp oil in a hot pan
5. when oil heats up add ½ tsp cumin seed, ½ tsp ajwain seeds, 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
6. add 3 chopped green chillies
7. reduce flame to add the spices
8. add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tsp garam masala
9. add the mashed potatoes and green peas
10. check salt and adjust accordingly after mixing
11. filling is ready now, turn off the flame
12. take slices of sandwich bread and remove the crust (can be used to prepare bread crumbs later)
13. use a roller pin and press the bread into thin sheets
14. cut into 2 triangles
15. to prepare glue: mix all-purpose flour with water
16. do not add excess water and make it loose
17. paste glue on one half of the edge as shown
18. fold and overlap as shown
19. place the filling and pack well
20. heat oil as required to fry the samosa
21. when the oil is hot, fry the samosa
22. reduce flame to medium; high flame can get it burnt; too low a flame can result in the bread soaking up the oil
23. fry until the samosa is golden brown
This is a simple yet delicious recipe that can be prepared even by beginners.
