For iftar today I’m making 2 simple recipes: Chicken Haleem and Chakka Appam. Haleem is a Hyderabadi dish made with oats and chicken, which is also rich in nutrition. Chakka Appam (Steamed Jackfruit cake) is a seasonal dish of Kerala, made with jackfruit dough cooked in lotus leaf. Both are filling recipes, and do not require additional sides.
