1. 2 kg chicken cut as 16 pieces
2. Pour ~4 tbsp coconut oil as necessary to saute onion in s pressure cooker
3. ¼ tsp fenugreek seed
4. 2 piece cinnamon sticks
5. 4-5 cloves
6. 3-4 cardamom
7. Slice 4 medium onions and saute
8. 1½ tbsp. ginger garlic paste and 2 green chillies crushed
9. Salt as required
10. ~3½ tbsp Biriyani masala (optional/as per personal choice)
11. 1½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
12. ½ tsp turmeric powder
13. ¼ tsp garam masala
14. Mix and saute well until the raw aroma changes
15. When the oil separates out, add 3 sliced tomatoes
16. Handful of coriander leaves
17. A bit of mint leaves
18. Add the chicken pieces and mix well
19. 2 tbsp curd
20. Mix well for 5 minutes
21. Add 2 cups of basmati rice (do not mix)
22. Add 2 grooved green chilli, chopped coriander and mint leaves
23. Add 1 tbsp ghee
24. Add 2¼ cup of boiling water
25. Handful of grated carrot
26. Close with lid, place weight and cook until 1 whistle on low flame (cooking time and number of whistles could vary with model and type)
27. After 1 whistle, turn off flame and wait until the pressure is released.
28. Carefully open the lid and use a fork to separate the rice
29. For serving, first take the rice out and then serve both after mixing

This is a simple yet delicious recipe that can be prepared even by beginners.
