4-മിനിറ്റിൽ കണ്ടു പരീക്ഷിക്കാവുന്ന പുതുവിഭവം || 4-Minute Sweet || Sweet Pua || Salu Kitchen

This 4-minute video recipe of Pua from Salt Kitchen was suggested by a co-traveller. Pua is a traditional Bihari dessert that is relished particularly during Holi (I am not personally sure of its origins or sources). This festive food is made with very less ingredients and takes very less time.

4-മിനിറ്റിൽ കണ്ടു പരീക്ഷിക്കാവുന്ന പുതുവിഭവം || 4-Minute Sweet || Sweet Pua || Salu Kitchen

1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
2. 1 cup semolina
3. 1 cup sugar
4. 2 cups lukewarm water
5. a pinch of salt
6. ¼ tsp baking powder
7. to a bowl add the all-purpose flour, semolina and sugar
8. add a pinch of salt
9. mix the contents well
10. add the lukewarm water and mix well with a whisk
11. close with lid and keep aside for 30 minutes12.
after 30 minutes, open lid and mix again
12. heat oil as required to fry
13. when the oil is hot, take a spoon full of batter and fry in hot oil
14. gently pour oil over the batter as well
15. gently flip over when one side is cooked and fry until golden brown
16. mix the batter well before frying each time
