Today for iftar we are having 3 healthy recipes : Dahi vada, Veg Salad and mango lassi. Ramadan has been good so far and we have been able to fast without much difficulties. I also pickle cucumbers for making shawarma. These recipes are easy to make and you can vary the ingredients as per your convenience and availability.

Ingredients:
Dahi Vada:
1 cup besan flour
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
salt, water as required
2 cup thick curd
2 green chillies
coriander leaves
oil to fry and garnish
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
dried red chillies
curry leaves
chat masala (optional)
serve chilled
Veg salad:
Dice vegetables of choice
Dress with 2 tbsp olive oil, extract of 1/2 lemon, salt, mustard dressing, chat masala
Mango lassi:
2 cups curd
Condensed milk
Ripe Mangoes
Ice
Powdered pista to garnish
