उडदाच्या सालासकटच्या डाळीचं उडदाचं घुटं हा सातारा स्पेशल झणझणीत पदार्थ आहे. उडदाच्या डाळीची गरमागरम पौष्टिक आमटी असे ही म्हंटले जाते. हिवाळ्यात खाण्यासाठी उडदाचं घुटं अतिशय उत्तम.
Urad dal is a great food for a healthy heart. Apart from reducing bad cholesterol (LDL), it also controls and prevents plaque formation in the arteries, which makes them hard. Since urad dal also contains potassium and magnesium, it improves blood circulation and protects overall heart health.
उडदाच्या डाळीमध्ये प्रथिनांचे प्रमाण चांगले असते. या डाळीमध्ये अंदाजे २५ ग्रॅम प्रथिने आढळतात. जे शाकाहारी लोकांसाठी प्रोटीनचा चांगला स्रोत आहे.

Ingredients:-
1 cup Split Black Gram
2 tbsp Split Bengal Gram
Water (as required)
3 cups Water
½ tsp Cumin Seeds
1 inch Ginger
7-8 Garlic Cloves
3 Green Chillies
½ cup Dried Coconut (sliced)
1 cup Coriander Leaves (chopped)
3 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
10-15 Curry Leaves
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
¼ tsp Asafoetida
Salt (as per taste)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
Water (as required)
