Ingredients:-
For making Varan:
1 Cup Split Pigeon Peas (washed & soaked)
2 cups Water
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Oil
2 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
Sprig of curry Leave
1 Green Chilli (chopped)
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
1 tbsp Ginger & garlic paste
1 Tomato (chopped)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 cup Water
1/2 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves
1 tsp Sugar
Salt
To Cook Rice:
1 Cup Rice (washed & soaked
2 cups water
Salt
For Making Batti:
1/2 cup Water
1 1/2 tsp Jaggery
Salt
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (roasted & crushed)
1 tsp Carom Seeds
2 cups Wheat Flour (Thick variety)
1 cup Wheat Flour (regular variety)
1 tsp Ghee
Water
1 tsp oil
Wheat Flour (for dusting)
1 tsp Ghee
Rice Flour (for dusting)
Oil for frying
