Learn how to make Bangda fish fry recipe at home from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani Karwar Special.

Stuffed Bangda Fry is an easy and quick Maharashtrian style fish fry recipe where fresh Bangda fish is marinated and stuffed with tasty coriander, ginger & garlic paste. Then nicely coated with semolina and lastly shallow fried in hot oil.

Ingredients:

4 Bangda
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves
4-5 Cloves of Garlic
1/2 inch Ginger
1 Green Chilli
2 Dry Mangoes (Amsul)
2 tbsp Semolina

Method:

– Apply salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder to the fish.
– Make a marination of coriander leaves, ginger, garlic, green chilli and dry mango. Apply this marinate to the fish. Also stuff the fish with this marinate.
– Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
– Heat some oil for shallow frying.
– Coast the fish with semolina.
– Shallow fry it in hot oil on both the sides.
– Lip smacking Stuffed Bangda Fry is ready.
