Learn how to make healthy Upvas special snack / breakfast recipe Sabudana Thalipeeth from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani.
Ingredients:
1 & 1/2 Cup Sabudana, soaked for 3 hours
3 Potatoes, boiled & chopped
1/2 Cup Crushed Peanut
1/2 tsp Ginger paste
3-4 Green chillies, chopped
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 & 1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Rock Salt
Coriander leaves
Oil
Method:
– Soak the sabudana in water for 3 hours. Rinse it and keep it aside.
– In a large bowl add the soaked sabudana.
– Then add boiled potatoes, crushed peanuts, ginger paste, green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, sugar and black salt. Mix everything well.
– In a flat pan heat some oil.
– Take small portions of the mixture and flatten them on the hot pan.
– Drizzle some more oil on the sides of the thalipeeth.
– Flip it over after few minutes & let the thalipeeth cook well on both the sides.
– Serve the delicious hot Sabudana Thalipeeth with curd & chutney.
