How To Make Paneer At Home | Basic Cooking | Recipe by Archana in Marathi

Learn how to make Paneer at home from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Paneer or Cottage Cheese is a popular & important ingredient in Indian recipes such as Paneer Bhurji, Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer Tikka and many more. This is the most easy & basic recipe of homemade Paneer.

Ingredients:

1 Litre Full Fat Milk
1 Cup Water
1 tbsp Vinegar
2 tbsp All Purpose Flour (Maida)

Method:

– Boil the milk.
– Add vinegar mixed with water. Give a stir.
– Once the milk curdles, switch off the flame & strain the crumbled paneer.
– Put some cold water on the crumbled paneer.
– Squeeze out all the excess water.
– In a large bowl add the crumbled paneer & all purpose flour.
– Knead the dough properly with your hands.
– Cover the paneer in a cloth & steam it for 10 minutes.
– After 10 minutes remove the paneer from the steamer and allow it to cool down. Do not remove the cloth.
– Set the paneer in the refrigerator for few hours to set.
– Paneer is ready to be used.
