Ingredients:-
1 cup Split Pigeon Peas, cooked
Water
¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
1-inch Ginger, julienned
3 Green Chillies, slit
Salt, to taste

For tempering:-
3-4 tbsp. Coconut Oil
¼ tsp. Asafoetida
1 tsp. Mustard Seeds
Dry Red Chillies
Curry Leaves

Method:-
1. In a kadhai, add the cooked split pigeon peas and add water to it.
2. Add turmeric powder, ginger, green chillies, salt and bring to a boil.
3. In a tempering vessel, heat coconut oil and add the rest of the tempering ingredients.
4. Pour the tempering over the cooked dal and serve.
