ताकातलं पिठलं – Takatla Pithla is Maharashtrian recipe. Pithla is a famous besan curry recipe which is served in Maharashtra with Bhakri. Takatla Pithla is a variant of that recipe which ias made by adding Buttermilk. Takatla Pitla helps in the digestion process. It is as well good to having during summer time.
Ingredients:-
– 150 gms Gram Flour
– 1 cup Buttermilk
– 3 cups Water
– Oil
– 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
– 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
– 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
– Curry Leaves
– 1/4 cup Ginger-Garlic (chopped)
– 2-3 Green Chilles (chopped)
– 2 Onions (chopped)
– 1 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
– 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
– Coriander Leaves

I avoid Jeera and curry leaves in preparation. Onion golden brown gives fantastic taste and aroma. Instead of Jeera we put Ova which gives added aroma and one will never have any stomach problem. You may try once my preparation.
