Ingredients:
Fish pieces, 1 inch thick
1.5 teaspoons red chili powder
Salt, to taste
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon oil
1 teaspoon thick curd (yogurt)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Masala Paste:

In a mixing bowl, combine red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of oil, and 1 teaspoon of thick curd. Mix these ingredients well to make a thick masala paste.

2. Marinate the Fish:
Take the fish pieces and coat them thoroughly with the prepared masala paste. Ensure that each piece is well coated.
Once coated, cover the fish pieces and let them marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. This allows the flavors to infuse into the fish.

3. Pan-fry the Fish:
Heat a pan over medium heat and add only 1 tablespoon of oil.
Once the oil is hot, place the marinated fish pieces one by one in the pan, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. You may need to cook them in batches if necessary.
Maintain the flame on medium heat to ensure even cooking.
Flip the fish pieces every 5 minutes to ensure they cook evenly and become crispy on both sides.
Cook for a total of about 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and has a crispy coating.

4. Serve:
Once the fish pieces are golden brown and crispy, remove them from the pan.
Drain any excess oil on paper towels.
Your crispy fish fry is now ready to be served.
