Ingredients:
1/2 cup Ragi Flour
1/4 cup Rice Flour
1/4 cup Bombay Rava (Semolina)
Water (as needed)
1/2 liter Buttermilk
Ginger (finely chopped)
Green Chilli Flakes (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
Crushed Black Pepper
Pan and Oil (for frying)
Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of Ragi Flour, 1/4 cup of Rice Flour, and 1/4 cup of Bombay Rava.
Gradually add water and mix to form a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
Add 1/2 liter of Buttermilk to the batter and mix well. This will make the batter more flavorful and nutritious.
Season the batter with finely chopped ginger, green chilli flakes, salt to taste, a pinch of jeera (cumin seeds), and crushed black pepper. Adjust the spice level to your preference.
Set aside the batter for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Heat a pan and add a little oil to it. Make sure the pan is hot before pouring the batter.
Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it out into a thin dosa. Cook on medium heat until it becomes crispy and golden brown.
Flip the dosa and cook the other side until it’s crunchy and well-cooked.
Serve your Crunchy Ragi Dosa hot with your favorite chutney or sambar.
